The Cyparissi Estate occupies a plateau site on a hillside overlooking superb views of the exceptionally beautiful north-east region of Corfu. The attractive little resort town of Kassiopi, with its comprehensive amenities, is only a few minutes drive away, but the Estate enjoys a level of seclusion and privacy that is essential to the enjoyment of a truly relaxing holiday. Beaches and water sports, shops and restaurants, are all within the radius of a ten-minute drive.
There are two properties on the Estate – Cyparissi House, sleeping up to eight people, and Cyparissi Cottage, sleeping up to four. The two houses are completely independent of each other, placed so that there is no question of one being overlooked by the other. The villas can of course be rented separately, but in high season, booked together, would make a wonderful location for a memorably luxurious holiday for a group of up to twelve.
Surrounded by immaculately landscaped gardens with lawns and beds planted with herbs and other indigenous plants, and bordered by hillside olive groves, the houses overlook views of stunning beauty, encompassing wooded hillsides and olive groves and a vista of sea and sky defined by the backdrop of the stately mainland mountains.
Cyparisssi House and Cyparissi Cottage are stylish, contemporary houses, comfortable and luxurious and effortlessly pleasing. The elegantly muted colour schemes are highlighted by the warm colours of Oriental rugs and the vibrant artwork that adorns the walls, but every one of the many windows, too, frames a living picture of exquisite colour in the form of the surrounding landscape.
The finest materials have been used throughout, from beaten stone and marble floors to Italian granite kitchen work surfaces, from terraces and walls of stone brought from Albania and worked on the spot by skilled stonemasons. Rooms, including bathrooms, are spacious, with air-conditioning and central heating, cupboard and wardrobe space is generous, and the bathroom fittings are of the latest design. There is plenty of room for relaxation, both indoors, in the comfortably furnished living rooms with Satellite TV, or outdoors, where shaded outdoor living areas provide the perfect setting for a glass or two of wine and quiet contemplation of the heavenly views.
Cyparissi House has a beautiful, generously-sized 12m x 6m swimming pool, available to the occupants of both houses when they are booked together.
